The description

In this course, Lesley Logan discussed the benefits and challenges of renting out a Pilates studio. Drawing from her experience as a renter, employee, and studio owner, she shared valuable insights into managing rental agreements, setting pricing, and evaluating profitability. Lesley emphasized the importance of understanding both perspectives — that of the renter seeking flexibility and the owner aiming for a stable income.

She highlighted key considerations like legal compliance, ensuring proper contracts, and maintaining clear boundaries between owners and renters. Lesley also explained the importance of knowing your financial goals, especially when deciding between employing staff or offering rental opportunities. Through her experiences, she illustrated how different rental models could impact a studio’s success.

Additionally, Lesley advised studio owners to weigh the long-term implications of their choices, including whether they planned to sell the business or sustain it for retirement. She emphasized the importance of creating a mutually beneficial environment where both owners and renters could thrive. This session provided actionable insights for those considering renting their space or becoming renters themselves.
