Founder, Pregnancy Pilates Impact
Alison Marsh, founder of Pregnancy Pilates Impact, is an author, adjunct professor, entrepreneur and Pilates instructor.
She applies research-based information and strategies to the timeless principles of the Pilates method, helping other teachers learn to confidently, courageously, and competently teach and empower pregnant and postnatal women.
Alison grew up in Las Vegas, NV where she studied ballet and acrobatics with the Kravenko School of Dance, and danced professionally in Las Vegas shows, most notably Les Follies Bergere.
She began studying Pilates in 1999 while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). In 2002 she completed her comprehensive and began teaching Pilates.
A few years later Alison earned a Bachelor of Social Work and implemented creative dance lessons for children in the protective custody of the Clark County Foster Care system - and has since adopted two children herself.
In 2017 took on the role of Adjunct Professor in the Pilates Minor program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Having the experience of social work, Alison believes that teachers need COURAGE and SUPPORT, so she took her experience as the CEO and founder of Your Pregnant Core, a Pilates Teacher Education platform, and started Pregnancy Pilates Impact in 2019.
