Alone Time to Travel

I don’t know about you, but in this busy world it can be hard to take time for yourself or workouts—let alone time to travel. So, why not combine all of these things? Seriously, what if you could take time off, go to an exotic spot and get your Pilates in all in the same trip? Well, join me on one of my retreats below and you can.

Lesley Logan, Pilates business/studio owner retreat in Cambodia
We’ll have a Pilates class each day and a couple of workshops to help you hone your Pilates practice no matter where you are in the world.

Take a Personal Retreats

Siem Reap, (Angkor,) Cambodia
March 5-12, 2017

This retreat is limited to 12 persons and is almost sold out! This past March I stayed almost a week in Cambodia. I was on my honeymoon, and we spent 12 hours at the Temples in Angkor. Before we left I already knew I would return to teaching Pilates. When we arrived the night before our tour I could feel the magic of this place. Siem Reap is home to the many Temples of what was once the kingdom of Angkor. During the 1200s, this was the largest kingdom in the known world! Each Temple has its own unique personality. Most tourists only see the same four Temples. On my retreat, we will be spending two days at the Temples. You’ll have plenty of time every day to explore the city of Siem Reap. Our bungalows are located right in town! We’ll have a Pilates class each day and a couple of workshops to help you hone your Pilates practice no matter where you are in the world. Learn more and reserve your spot. This retreat is almost sold out, so don’t hesitate.

Maui, Hawaii
April 2-7, 2017

I have always wanted an excuse to visit Maui. When the opportunity to teach at the incredible Bodywork & Pilates Studio on the southern beach of Maui presented itself, I was in! This retreat will have sunrise and sunset Pilates classes on the beach, the opportunity to sign up for private Pilates sessions and massages, and a traditional Hawaiian luau. This is the perfect Pilates retreat because you can travel with your family and friends. Pick your own accommodations and, while you get your Pilates on, they can enjoy all that Maui has to offer—hiking, surfing, and, of course, beaches. After your Pilates class, you can join them. Reserve your spot. Don’t take too long though, Maui accommodations wait for no one!

I’ll be teaming up with Arlene Taus Soloman of Bodywork & Pilates. She is truly an incredible teacher; her knowledge of the magic of Maui and her love for Hawaii has brought this retreat to life. Join us and learn how to take your Pilates practice to the next level.  Aloha!

Santa Monica, California
August 13, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

If you just can’t wait to get a Pilates Retreat, then this one is for you! Jeni Del Pozo and I have teamed up for another day retreat at Speir Pilates in Santa Monica, California. Our last one was a huge hit, and this one is already almost sold out.

At our last retreat, we took our mat work to the wall. For this day retreat, we are going a bit old school and also diving into those easy-to-skip reformer exercises.  We’ll start with a Pilates reformer workout and then dive into a two-hour workshop that will include some history of the reformer, exercises that are often misunderstood, and archival ones that many people haven’t experienced. Sometimes you just have to go “back in time” to move your practice forward!  Sign up for your day retreat pass.

So, my Pilates lovers, which of these retreats will you be joining me on? Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions. Let’s take our Pilates practice with us wherever we go!

P.S: Stay tuned for my UK Pilates Instructor retreat dates! Julie Driver and I are going to rendezvous to bring workshops across the pond!
