Running Successful Pilates for Men Programs

How do you get men into the studio and keep them committed? I’ve built a successful men’s program at my studio, and now my clients consist of about ¼ men. It was only once I mastered all three of the areas covered in this course that I noticed the numbers of male clients signing up and continuing their Pilates practice.

The description

“Pilates is for everybody.” As Pilates instructors, we say and hear this all the time; however, most of our clients tend to be women. When men do give Pilates a try, it is usually because their spouse made them or their doctor recommended it, and they quit as soon as their pain dissipates. Men are a big portion of the population that you could be helping, but who won’t even walk through your studio door (yet!).

The big question is, how do you get men into the studio and keep them committed?

It was only once I mastered all three of the following areas that I noticed the numbers of male clients signing up and continuing their Pilates practice:

Three Keys to Creating a Successful Men’s Pilates Program:

1. Understand the reasons men choose to practice Pilates
2. Know what motivates them to come back
3. Learn to dispel their objections as to why they “can’t” do Pilates

Join me in this course and discover the benefits of running a Pilates for Men program. Let’s share the power of Pilates with a whole new group of people!

Melissa Nagai

Melissa Nagai began her career in Fitness in the early 1990’s, teaching high energy aerobics, weight training, and spin classes for many years before she discovered Pilates. She credits the study and practice of Pilates for changing the way she personally approached fitness, as well as how she trains her clients. She believes that it’s important to find balance in your fitness routine, and her ongoing education speaks to that passion. She holds multiple certifications as a Pilates Teacher, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and is trained in Kettlebell and Ultimate Sandbag practices. A Home Studio owner since 2015, Melissa loves to help athletes at all levels discover how Pilates and strength training can keep them excelling at their sport longer, and better than ever. In addition to her studio, Melissa has an Online Studio/App, and runs a successful Pilates for Men program. She loves it when men finally cave to trying Pilates and how quickly they feel the benefits. They quickly become committed and consistent with their Pilates practice. Fun facts: Melissa has three daughters, and has been married for 24 years. She previously worked as an interior designer, hates folding clothes, and will always choose tea over coffee.
