This course covers the essentials of liability insurance tailored for Pilates professionals, including how to protect your business with the right coverage for your specific needs—whether you operate a brick-and-mortar studio, a home setup, or are a traveling instructor.

The description

Liability Insurance is the one that you must have. Protect yourself and your business by making sure you understand your coverage and why it is important. But is your coverage correct for what you do and what your needs are? Most local insurance agencies do not deal in sports and fitness regularly and may not understand the important fine print to be cautious of. Whether you have a brick and mortar studio, a home studio or are a traveling instructor, there is a solution for you. However, it is not a one solution fits all and it is important for your insurance provider to understand your individual needs and dynamics.

  1. Insurance carriers and programs adjust and change their guidelines all the time. Understand the type of coverage that is important for you. General Liability (A must for all), Professional Liability, Property and Equipment Coverage.
  2. Cyber? When is the right time to think about Cyber liability?
  3. Accident and Medical Expense Insurance vs. Liability Insurance – Understanding what they cover and when you need them
  4. Studio coverage versus Instructor coverage is NOT the same. Are you a brick and mortar commercial location, or a at home studio? Options are not always the same and your homeowners insurance will not cover incidents arising from your Pilates business.
  5. Common misconceptions. What is covered and what is not. Understanding the different types of insurance and when they may apply.
