The description

Pilates for the Future is for you; if you have been thinking about adding to your clientele base, this is the course for you. Teaching kids requires some additional thought and skills. We will walk you through uncovering your passion for Pilates and sharing the joy of movement with kids.

We will help you clarify your ideal client and why teaching kids is a good fit for you. Next, we will look at how to get down to business and get started.

We will talk about Physical Literacy, apply it to the Pilates method, and incorporate these skills into your lesson plans. We will give you permission to get creative and make it fun, not only for the kids but also for you as the teacher. You will receive resources to further your understanding of this topic which allows you to expand your teaching toolbox. Then, we will look at building on the FUN-damentals of Pilates and movement. You will receive kid-focused materials to integrate into your classes.

Finally, we will talk about the possibilities, opportunities, safety, and responsibilities of teaching our youth.
We will discuss the trends of extracurricular activities, the business basics (including ensuring you have adequate insurance coverage to teach kids), community connections, and creating rules and structure.

Upon competition of the course, you will have all the essential tools you need to grow your clientele base, incorporate kids’ classes into your studio, and cultivate growth in your business. And, along this journey, you may just rediscover your playful practice, which benefits all your clients.
